Referral terms
These terms apply to anyone who introduces a business to Trovy Inc. ("trovy", "we") through our Refer a business program. By sending an introduction, you agree to them.
Who can refer
Anyone in Canada who is 18 or older. Companies that sell POS, payments or loyalty software can't take part.
Who you can introduce
A real business in Canada that is new to trovy and not already talking to us. Not one that you or your family own, and not one you work for.
Tell them first
Only introduce people you know, and tell them before you do. We write to them once and say you introduced us. No lists, no cold messages, and please don't speak for trovy. We use the details you give us to write to them, as our Privacy Policy describes.
One payment per business
We pay the first person to introduce a business. A group or chain under one owner counts as one business.
When it pays
The business goes live within 90 days of your introduction, is still on trovy and paid up 30 days after going live, and its customers have redeemed at least 5 rewards by then.
How much
$200 for one location, $500 for two to nine, and $1,000 for ten or more, going by the locations live on day 30. If more go live within six months, we top you up to the matching amount.
How you're paid
By e-transfer in Canadian dollars, within 14 days of day 30. We may ask for your legal name and address first. Reporting it for tax is up to you.
When we won't pay
A fake business, made-up customers or redemptions, or a payment shared with someone at the business. In those cases we can refuse the payment or ask for it back.
Changes
We may change or end the program. Introductions we've already received keep the terms they were made under.
